The ASY3000 series relay device fixtures are based on a specially designed pre-wired 'soft socket' that provides full Kelvin connections to all relay device terminals. The construction of the unit allows for easy customisation to suit different relay footprints.
A typical surface mount relay test fixture:
The unit is suitable for direct connection to the RT90, RT290, Reflex 10 and 20 test systems. Other test equipment may be used if required. Both single and dual coil footprints may be accommodated.
It is constructed using a robust metal case that provides the base for the device socket within which the relay device is tested. This device socket is based on a pair of gold-plated socket contacts for each relay pin so providing a 2-wire circuit that minimises possible test errors due to lead resistance when measuring small contact resistance values.
A high quality screened gold-plated 60-way connecting lead (ART order number ASY3112) is required that mates directly with any Applied Relay Testing supplied parametric test system.
