New Reflex 250 - Low cost MIL spec Hi-pot, IR and parametric relay test system

The MIL specification Reflex 250 offers compact parametric, high current CVD, hi-pot and insulation resistance test capability and at a low cost whilst maintaining exceptional reliability and fast test times.

Key features: Low cost. Handles a wide range of relay devices up 8 pole form C contacts. Hi-pot to 1800Vrms / Insulation resistance at up to 1kVdc. AC coil drive option. Contact voltage drop capability to 10 Amp (with external DC PSU option). Higher currents require the external current switch multiplexer. 19” rack mount option. Software is fully compatible with Windows 7TM, VistaTM and XPTM Comprehensive reporting capability for complete device traceability. Turn-key software – load up pre-written device tests to CECC, IEC, MIL spec and custom. ‘File import’ feature allows test programs written for non ART manufactured products to be loaded and run  Alternate industry standard 44 pin Burndy  and 156 pin ITT Canon device socket options

The Reflex 250 complements the broad range of ART test equipment providing a high quality test system ideally suited to manual production lines and engineering analysis. The common user interface “Artworks” provides full compatibility across the Reflex and RT290 product ranges. The new 'File import' feature adds the capability to load and run pre written test sequences from other manufacturers relay test equipment. The system is supplied either for use with an external PC (using a standard USB interface) or with an embedded PC.

The addition of the external high current DC power supply adds contact voltage drop capability to 10 Amps. For currents above 10 Amps an optional high current multiplexer module may be used.  AC coil drive capability is an optional feature using either the internal (<30W) or external (>30W) PSU. 

Test sequences are simple, clear and built from pre-written test types to CECC, IEC or custom formats using menu selection. A ‘Relay Wizard’ macro allows a complete device test to be built from a few simple questions and answers. Test sequences can be run, re-tested, cycled or step-executed to enable fast development of a test program. The operator display can easily be customised for different languages as required.

Dual site: The dual site option provides internal multiplexing between two front panel mounted device connectors, order code suffix - DUAL.

AC Coil (medium power): Adds AC coil drive capability 0-270Vrms, order code suffix – AC

High voltage: This option adds 0-1.8kV DWV and 0-1kV IR, order code suffix – HV

19” rack mounting: Order code suffix – RACK

Calibration module: External semi automatic calibration / self test module, order code suffix - AUTOCAL
