The Applied Relay Testing RS2020-001 Basic Relay Standard provides a range of switchable relay types with assured operate and release characteristics and is used to verify that a relay parametric test system is operating within its specification.
In essence a virtual relay, the user, by means of front panel switches, can
define the following parameters:

In use, the RS2020-001 is connected to the relay parametric test system under test. The RS2020-001 is user programmed with the parameters it is to emulate, i.e.:
Monostable relay
Vop=14.8V
Vrel=9.7V
Rcoil=1k Ohms
Single coil suppression diode
The relay parametric test system is then used to 'test' the RS2020-001. The results generated by the relay test system are then used to verify that the relay test system is operating correctly. The addition of front panel test points and a manual override facility, facilitate testing and calibration of the RS2020-001 unit itself.
